We are looking for Foster Homes!

  • Being a foster parent to an animal in need of a little TLC can be a very rewarding experience. Some of the homeless animals that come into our Shelter have a hard time adjusting to life at the Shelter while they wait for their new homes. By placing them in a foster home, it allows us to give an interested adopter a better insight into the pet's likes and dislikes, good or bad habits, and its ability to get along with children and other pets. When the animal is adopted out there is a less chance it will be returned to the Shelter for some underlying problem that would go undectected at the Shelter. There are many ways someone can foster an animal. If you are interested in helping, please call the Shelter at 773-1806, or send us an email requesting an application form to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Hey there, thank you for taking the time to read about me! I am a very friendly cat with so much love to give, I will shower you with as many hugs and kisses as I possibly can. Not much bothers me, I am a very forgiving boy who just wants to be loved more then anything in the whole world. Everyday I pop my head out of my cage to stop and say hello to all the other cats around me, if you have cats I would love to meet them! I am very proud of my soft and shiny coat, I have been making sure it looks fantastic for when my new family comes to adopt me, its not easy being this handsome! Everyone says I have such stunning green eyes, they must be right because some days I catch myself gazing at my own reflection. Overall, I would say I am the perfect gentleman and I will be forever thankful to the family who brings me home, I hope to see you soon!

I am named after paige from Charmed and just like her I have learned how to orb .. you`ll have to pay attention because before you know it I`ll be on the other side of the room ready to pounce and play! I am a small cat, with a big heart and I love to cuddle. I would love to go to a family with children because I have lots of energy to burn, I am very playful and could spend hours having fun with my toys! After a long hard day of playing, I enjoy cuddling up on someone`s lap, I make the most perfect lap warmer! If I sound like the kind of cat you have been waiting for, come and meet me soon!

Thank you for stopping to read about me! I don`t usually like being the center of attention but I will tell you a little bit about myself ... I am a 6 year old Calico, I find it a little harder to adjust to shelter life, I just want to be in a warm home where I can stretch and relax! After having a cage to myself, I would like to keep in that way .... perhaps my own room with a "do not disturb" sign! If you treat me nicely I will do the same to you, but I am definitely the type of cat to stand up for myself. I am a neat and tidy cat with respect for boundaries, but every once in a while I will crawl onto your lap and remind you how much I love you!

Hey there, My name is Jonesy. I am a very big boy with a huuge heart. I absolutely love any and all affection, especially belly rubs! I will roll over for you and show you my belly so you know I am wanting some love. Even though I am a large cat, I am usually pretty shy when first meeting new people but it wont take long for us to become best friends. I like to spend most of my day sleeping, I will cocoon myself up into my favourite blanket and curl up for a warm and cozy nap. I am really just a gentle giant, I don`t use my claws unless I am so happy that I just can`t help but kneed. If you are looking for a companion friend who will sit on your lap and keep you warm, that would be me. I am a very forgiving boy, so I would do well with children, cats and dogs too. We can get to know each other much better if you come to the shelter so we can meet!

Calla Lily:

Calla Lily is a beautiful white cat with some grey markings around her ears. She is a super affectionate lady who absolutely adores all the petting she can get. She has a very well-developed purr machine and can turn it on at the press of a button ... all you have to do is rub or scratch her nose. She would love to be in a family home where there are lots of kids & people who would pet her all day long. Do you have a space for her in your home? We sure hope so!

Calla Lily is the mother of our "Lily" litter.

Meow, hey there! My name is Chitter and I am 9 months old. Chatter and I came into the shelter together. I am a very loving cat with a gorgeous long coat, I am looking for a new family who will pamper and spoil me. I can be talkative at times but otherwise I am content curling up in my bed and dreaming about chasing mice and eating lots of treats! I am loyal and eager-to-please, I will always be there when you need a cuddle or kitty kiss. I am people-friendly and it doesn`t take much to start my purr machine. If you would like to meet me, please stop by for a visit soon .... I will make sure my coat is well groomed so I look perfect for when you take me home!

(Reduced adoption fee)

There`s no doubt in our minds that Snufflebump is a lover and not a fighter. He adores everthing there is about snuggling, cuddling, tickling and petting. Even after you have petted him for quite a while, he will reach out his paw to catch your hand hoping to bring it back for just a few more pets. He`s great at just flopping over on his side so that you can pet every part of him. He will even stop eating his crunchies if he thinks there are more pets available. All this while, his purr machine is going full tilt ... it never seems to stop. Snufflebump is wating for you - are you waiting for him? We sure hope so!

Puuurrr, Howdy! Chitter and I came into the shelter together. Even though we are sisters, we have very different personalities. She is the good cuddly sister and I am the one who always has something to say, I have a little more attitude then Chatter but I am just as loving! I love to tell stories, as soon as the staff get to the shelter in the morning I immediately tell them what shenanigans we got up to while they were gone! I am also very playful, I could spend hours distracted with a toy mouse. I have a very bubbly personality and will always brighten up the room. I really hope we can meet soon!
