The Saskatchewan Beef Industry Conference is going virtual, the two-day event begins today at 12:45 pm.

Today's presentations begin with Agriculture Minister David Marit announcing funding for this year's livestock related research projects.

Ryder Lee, CEO of the Saskatchewan Cattlemen's Association, says that's followed by a presentation on AgTec Investment in Agriculture, a Mental Health discussion and then some research updates.

Day two features keynote speaker Diana Rodgers will talk about "Ending the Anti Meat Narrative.".

Rodgers is a "real food" nutritionist, sustainability advocate, and co-author of the book the "Sacred Cow".

Thursday's event wraps up with a market update and an industry panel talking about "Looking into the Future - Generation Outlook".

This year's panel will feature producers Ryan Brierbach of High Plains Ranch, Chad Ross of L7 Ranch and Chief Cadmus Delorme of Cowessess First Nation.
