The Swift Current Indians are ready to open up their first round WMBL playoff series with the Medicine Hat Mavericks.

Games one and two are set for tomorrow and Saturday night at Mitchell Field. 

Medicine Hat finished 3rd in the West Division behind Okotoks and Lethbridge.  During the regular season, the Indians won three of four meetings.

The Indians crossed over to the West Division for the playoffs this season.  Lethbridge and Okotoks will meet in the other series.

In the east, Moose Jaw battles Melville and Weyburn will match-up with the Regina Red Sox.
