A hot, sticky day in Southwest Saskatchewan is breeding more severe weather.

Environment Canada has severe thunderstorm watches out for the southwest, as well as the extreme western and southern parts of the province. The hot, humid conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, and there is a possibility the storms could bring large hail and strong, damaging winds.

Warnings were issued for the Eastend, Leader and Swift Current areas, after storms capable of large hail were spotted around those communities The storm passed through the city last hour with moderate to heavy rain, but no hail was reported. You can track any storm activity on Environment Canada's Radar .
