The Swift Current Comp. Ardens returned to top spot in the Moose Jaw Soccer League with two wins over the visiting Caronport Cougars Thursday afternoon.

After weather caused their contest last weekend to be postponed, the two teams met for a pair of 50-minute mini-games, with the Ardens winning 9-0 and 11-0.

Lauryn Hayes was the high scorer for Swift Current with six goals, while rookie MJ Anderson added four goals and one assist.

Jaden McKenzie and Juliana Whalen both earned a shutout in goal over the two games.

The Ardens improved to 4-0 on the season, while Caronport dropped to 0-7.

Swift Current will be in Moose Jaw Saturday for league games against the Weyburn Eagles and the Moose Jaw Central Cyclones.
