This time around, the trip to Regina ended in much better fashion.

After paying a visit to the provincial capital last week and falling 4-0 to the Regina Ravens, the Full Line Ag Female Midget 'AA' Broncos returned to the Queen City Wednesday night and defeated the Capitals 6-2.

Broncos' forward Baylee Kirwan put Swift Current out in-front in the opening frame, before tallying her second goal of the game in the later stages of the first as the Broncos took a 2-0 lead after one.

In the second period though, the Capitals pushed back.

Regina scored back-to-back goals, tying the game 2-2 with just over three minutes left in the period.

While it appeared the game may be deadlocked at the second intermission, Kirwan had other ideas.

The forward completed the hat-trick, regaining Swift Current's one goal lead.

Just eleven seconds after Kirwan put the Broncos up 3-2, Bailey Wilson also found the back of the net giving Swift Current a 4-2 edge.

Still holding the 4-2 advantage with the third period winding down, the Broncos added some insurance.

Chelsea Wilson and Malisa Collier each scored for Swift Current securing the road victory.

With the victory, the Broncos have now defeated the Captials in two of their three meetings.

Moving forward, Swift Current will continue their seven game December road trip on Friday when they visit the Moose Jaw Mavericks.
