A weekend split for the Home Hardware Midget 'AAA' Legionnaires.

Playing a pair of exhibition games over the weekend, the Legionnaires won one and lost one, defeating the Notre Dame Hounds 3-1 Saturday night, before falling 3-1 to the Moose Jaw Generals on Sunday.

Sunday's loss to Moose Jaw, marked the second time in three games, Swift Current dropped a pre-season game to the Generals.

In Saturday's contest, Josh Pillar, Shayde Peterson and Reed Jacobson all found of the back of the net, while Rhett Stevenson tallied the Legionnaires lone goal on Sunday.

Brad Nyen registered the win in goal for Swift Current against the Hounds, stopping all nine shots he faced, Carter Woodside later came in and made 14 of 15 stops.

Against the Generals, Woodside and Cody Levesque split time in the Swift Current net, with Woodside turning away 13 of 15 shots and Levesque stopping 15 of 16.

Next up for Swift Current is an exhibition contest on Wednesday against the Hounds.
