For just the second time this summer, the Swift Current Indians have dropped two games in a row.

Following a 4-3 loss to Yorkton, the Tribe hit the road Tuesday night and were shut-out 3-0 by the Weyburn Beavers.

Despite being held of the scoreboard, Swift Current managed to outhit the Beavers 10-7, but the Indians went 2-17 with runners on base.

Bobby St. Pierre was hit with the loss on the hill even though he turned in another quality start, allowing just two runs over seven innings of work, while striking out six.

At the plate, Liam Goodall went 4-4 for Swift Current.

The Tribe currently hold a 3.5 game lead over Yorkton for top spot in the East, after the Cardinals took both games of a double-header in Melville.
