Flu Clinics have been taking place over the last month in Swift Current, and throughout southwest Saskatchewan (Archived Photo)

The Cypress Health Region will be holding its last regular flu clinic in Swift Current for 2011.

The final clinics on the schedule in the city will be at the Swift Current Mall from 10:00am to 5:00pm today.

Bryce Martin with the Health Region says they have been satisfied with the response, saying so far they have had 7000 immunizations throughout the region. He adds although Public Health Nurses are very satisfied with the numbers that came out, they're asking for more people to come out to get their vaccinations.

The Health Region is reminding the public that the vaccinations are free of charge, and the clinics are open to everyone. Martin adds he is encouraging people to take advantage of the clinics that are still available, not just in Swift Current today, but over the next couple of weeks throughout the southwest.
