The 34th Annual Swift Current Kiwanis Spookarama has creeped up on us again.

Students from schools around the Southwest will be gathering again to take part in the festivities, with the middle years dance taking place at the Rec Centre from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and the senior dance at the Palliser Pavillion going from 8:00 pm to midnight.

Mike Kesslar with the local Kiwanis club says a lot of volunteer work goes into holding these events and says it takes a strong volunteer force to help present the event. He says upwards of 55-70 volunteers have stepped up on a regular basis each year.

In order to attend the dance, you are required to present a valid student card from schools in Swift Current, Waldeck, Wymark, Stewart Valley or Success.
