It was a very frightening scene in Moose Jaw Friday, as a truck with two people inside plunged into the Moose Jaw River.

Emergency crews were called to the entrance to Wakamow Valley in the city's southside at around 2:30pm, and rushed to pull out a 70-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman from the vehicle. They were sent to hospital in Moose Jaw in critical condition, and Moose Jaw and District EMS confirmed this morning that the male occupant has died.

Paramedics say the two occupants of the vehicle were in the water for about 20 minutes.
