Swift Current's Brad Wall and the Saskatchewan Party are returning to government after a landslide victory in the Provincial Election

Premier Wall easily won his seat in Swift Current, and his party won 49 seats, compared to the New Democrats with nine, who have lost 11 seats from the last election in 2007.

Wayne Elhard, Yogi Huyghebaert, Lyle Stewart, and Jim Reiter have also been re-elected in their ridings.

NDP leader Dwain Lingenfelter has felt the effects of the losses his party have suffered, losing his seat in Regina-Douglas Park.

In his concession speech, Lingenfelter said he was still proud of his party's platform, saying it was brilliant and he won't be sorry or apologize for presenting the ideas during the campaign. He also announced he would be stepping down as leader, but he was confident the party would bounce back in time for the 2015 election.

Brad Wall later spoke at the Palliser Pavillion in Swift Current. He told supporters of the landslide victory that people are looking into the province wondering why the "orange wave" of the NDP in some provinces and federally hadn't made its way into Saskatchewan, saying that those people may not know that "in this province, green is the colour."

Wall also talked about the recent strength of the province, especially since his party took over government in 2007. "Where once there was a fear of the future, now there is hope, where once there was doubt, now there is confidence. This new Saskatchewan that you have built is stronger, and prouder, and better than it has ever been, and we are not going back!"
