Tomorrow marks the Ag Outlook Conference in Swift Current.

The event is sponsored by Innovation Credit Union along with Stark & Marsh.

Garth Burnett says that with everything happening with trade issues internationally, they will talk out the Grain Commodities Outlook.

"All of the trade concerns that are going to affect our producers locally here in the southwest and how we should take that information and maybe some minor adjustments or significant adjustments to our crop plans," he said. "I think Mike Jubinville will kind of give us a readers digest of things and current events and how they are progressing that might influence our decision as we get to the field."

Burnett says the event covers everything from market updates to farming joint ventures and tax issues:

"We're going to have some industry specialists that came share some information and some different strategies on how to structure our farming operations," he said. "The other variable that's been in the headlines this year is some of the proposed tax changes and how that would affect even our day to day operations."

The event also focuses on Farming Joint Ventures, Tax Changes and Your Family Farm? What You Need to Know and Lane Stockbrugger will talk about Farm the Ground Up? Talking about the impact of soil health.

The event runs Tuesday from 9 to 4 at the Living Sky Event Centre.
