Canada should think twice before removing the single desk wheat marketing system on the Prairies. That's according to an Australian farmer speaking as part of the Canadian Wheat Board's weekly Grainwaves radio feature.

Jock Munro, who farms 2,500 acres in New South Wales, says Australian producers are selling their wheat at lower prices after losing their single desk in 2008.

Munro says 80 per cent of Australian farmers wanted to keep the AWB single desk, but were ignored.
