In today’s Agricultural economy information is key to maximizing profitability. 

Saskatchewans Ministry of Agriculture is holding a series of meetings in the southwest on Maximizing Profits in the Cattle Business. 

Regional Livestock Specialist Bob Springer says the information in these meetings will range from cattle markets, cost of production, animal health, business development programs available for producers, and other things like winter feed management. He adds producers will also have the chance to ask questions of the speakers in attendance.
 
Today’s meetings are free and will run from 1:00 to 4:00pm at the Memorial Hall Tea Room in Eastend and from 7:00pm to 10:00pm tonight at the Legion Hall in Abbey. Tomorrow, a meeting will be held at the Mankota Agricultural Hall from 1:00 to 4:00pm.
