Cropportunities in Swift Current

Cropportunities takes place Tuesday at the Sky Centre in Swift Current.

Once again the event is sold out.

Shannon Chant is the Regional Crop Specialist with Saskatchewan’s Ministry Of Agriculture.

She says it’s a great opportunity for farmers to get a recap of what happened in the area last year as they prepare for the new growing season.

Producers will hear about the research being done at the Wheatland Conservation Area, as well as getting insect updates, information on the new crop insurance program , a weather outlook and information on fertility and crop rotation.
