62 percent of wheat growers say they wish to maintain the ability to market wheat through the CWB single-desk system.

38 percent of respondents who grew wheat said they wish to remove the single desk.

The margin was much closer for barley with 51 percent of barley growers who submitted ballots saying they favour the single desk for barley.

The participation rate for returned ballots overall was 56 percent . 55 percent for those who grew wheat, 47 percent for those who grew barley.
