Producers taking part in the Ministry of Agricultures Production Workshops in Saskatchewan this week are learning more about a farm friendly app that can streamline their information.

Jared Haight a marketing advisor with Farmlink Marketing Solutions is taking part in the meetings in Moose Jaw, North Battleford and Melfort.

He’s talking to producers about the record keeping and data management features of their Farm at Hand app.

"So as you are performing different tasks in the field, if you have a couple of guys seeding they can both enter their activities for the day if you have an agronomist coming out to scout they can enter notes and observations so that they

are kept for you and your records, similarly, you can set tasks for future dates, if you need be assigning spraying for a certain hired hand or you can set a reminder for yourself," Haight said.

He notes producers can also track inventory and crop input supplies as well as equipment information like maintenance dates, serial, model and part numbers at a glance.

The app is free for producers and is available at Farmathand.com
