The Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan's [APAS] Youth Leadership and Mentorship Program is getting a bit of a boost.

FarmLead is an online grain marketplace that allows buyers and sellers to list, negotiate and finalize grain deals, is setting up a charticle partnership with APAS.

Brennan Turner is FarmLead’s President, and CEO and talks about why it was important to get involved in the APAS program.

"Being from Foam Lake Saskatchewan and a farming family, I think that there is an importance regarding the next generation of farmers who are coming up through the pipeline," he said. "Making them aware of some of the issues regarding policy, and how are some of the broader economic factors affecting not just their farm but Saskatchewan farmers in western Canadian farmers in general."

For every farmer who registers for their free FarmLead account using the referral code "APAS," FarmLead will make a $25 charitable donation payable to the APAS Youth Leadership and Mentorship Program.

Farmers who register will have access to a variety of features including the daily commentary, access to grain price discovery and the opportunity to expand their grain marketing options.
