There was a lot of action in the Light Horse Arena for day one of Frontier Days 2010 today.

The arena has been busy sine 8:00am this morning, with the 4-H Light Horse show and Heritage Classic underway in the cutting arena.

Light Horse Committee Chair Donna Reid says today is also the second day for their working cow horse clinic, which she says will give the participants some extra tips so they can do some winning on Thursday and Friday.

Reid adds, a new event for the fair is the addition of the Heavy Horse Show.  Tonight, it's the heavy horse hitches in the grandstand at 6:30pm.

The gates to the fair open at 4:00pm.
