Glyphosate resistance, if it's not already here, is around the corner, according to a Research Scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
Dr. Hugh Beckie says given the widespread use of glyphosate, selection for resistance is inevitable, as seen in other parts of the world.
He expects resistance to show up in certain weeds before others.
He says producers should tank-mix glyphosate when possible, and limit glyphosate applications to not more than once per year.
