Another politician is touring flooded-out farmland in northeast Saskatchewan; this time, it's Liberal MP Ralph Goodale.

APAS invited the Regina MP to tour the area to get a better understanding of the impact excessive rain has had.  The tour will include areas around Drake, Leroy, and Wadena, including the RMs of Leroy, Prairie Rose, and Lakeview.

Fields are under water, and many farmers have been unable to get a crop in this spring.  It's estimated that 10 million acres could go unseeded this year.

Federal Ag Minister Gerry Ritz toured affected areas in northeast Saskatchewan a couple of weeks ago, but farmers are still waiting for signs that help may be on the way.
