Hunters are being asked to take extra precautions and stay on track this year.

Extremely dry conditions are increasing fire concerns in several areas of the province, especially in the South West.

Darrell Crabbe, Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, says the first step is to always ask for the landowner’s permission to hunt:



He adds it’s also a good idea not to sit and leave your vehicle idling and to carry a fire extinguisher.
