The 22nd Annual Irrigation Saskatchewan Conference opens today in Moose Jaw.

The conference focuses on the activities of the Saskatchewan Irrigation Projects Association and the Irrigation Crop Diversification Centre.

There’s a number of key issues on the agenda for this year with discussion around Changes to the Provincial Act on Irrigation; the Provincial Irrigation Strategy and the transfer of Irrigation Assets.

SIPA and ICDC will also hold a discussion on forming one combined entity.

The Irrigation Conference will wrap up tomorrow at the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa.
