Chief Commissioner of the Canadian Grain Commission Elwin Hermanson

The Ministry of Agriculture is holding a series of workshops to try and help farmers in making a smooth transition to marketing freedom.

One of the speakers at the sessions this week is the Chief Commissioner of the Canadian Grain Commission Elwin Hermanson.

He says producers will want to make sure they know who they are dealing with in this new marketing era.

So far the events have been well attended. 112 producers took part in Rosetown, 230 in Swift Current and 103 have signed up for the event today in Weyburn.
