Agriculture Minister Lyle Stewart yesterday announced a new $125,000 agreement for Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation.

This five-year sponsorship provides the same level of funding as the agreement that expired on December 31, 2017.

The sponsorship will support agriculture-related events, such as the Crop Production Show, AG-EXperience for Students, Junior Ag Showcase, Youth Leadership Conference and the Saskatchewan Beef Expo.

Stewart says Saskatoon Prairieland Park is an important hub for the agriculture community, hosting events that are integral to the industry.

He notes this year marks the 35th Anniversary for the Crop Production Show, which features the latest practices, services, products and technology.

The Western Canadian Crop Production Show runs today thru Thursday show hours are 9 to 5 at Prairieland Park.
