The Canola Council of Canada has a new president.

Patti Miller moves into the position left vacant when Joanne Buth left the position after being appointed to the Senate by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Miller is leaving her position at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. During her career with Ag Canada she was responsible for working with Canadian grains and oilseeds producers and industry on policy, trade, market development and research issues.

Miller officially moves into her new role April 30th.
