The office at North West Terminal re-opened Friday, following a fire early Thursday morning.

North West Terminal thanking the Unity Fire Department and all the volunteers for their efforts and dedication on Thursday.

RCMP and the Unity Fire Department were called in early Thursday morning to deal with a fire in the elevators’ grain dryer that took most of the day to contain.

Crews were able to contain the fire to the grain dryer but evacuated the offices as a precaution.

A posting on the company’s Facebook page says the driveway will remain closed over the weekend.

Producers can expect an update on NWT’s Facebook page, as well as a text message letting them know when they will resume deliveries or if anything changes.
