Pioneer Hi-Bred, a well known seed company, is expanding its operations in Canada. That expansion will mean the potential for new job opportunities and investment right here in Saskatchewan.

“So that consists of sales folks, marketing folks, productions. So those are the folks responsible for growing the seed, conditioning the seed, shipping the seed, and also we're also going to have significant expansion in research and development, that's feet on the ground in Western Canada breeding crops for Western Canada.”, said Greg Stokke, the Business Director for Pioneers new Saskatoon based commercial unit. 

“Saskatchewan in general, its geographically in the center of the prairies, Saskatchewan is a booming province, it's a have province. Were very thrilled to put the office in Saskatchewan and its got a great work force to full from and it's just a great place to live.” adds Stokke

Pioneer Hi-Bred will also set up a Commercial Unit in Eastern Canada in Chatham Ontario and plans to relocate it’s head office to the new DuPont Canada headquarters in Mississauga this fall.
