Saskatchewan Beef Industry Conference

Provincial Agriculture Minister Bob Bjornerud

Cattlemen are gathering in Saskatoon this week for the Saskatchewan Beef Industry Conference.

Provincial Agriculture Minister Bob Bjornerud addressed the group today and announced $3.5 million in federal provincial funding for livestock and forage-related research through the Saskatchewan Agriculture Development Fund (ADF).



In addition, annual operational funding will continue to be provided from ADF  for the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization, the Prairie Swine Centre and the Western Beef Development Centre.
