Rain continues to delay seeding activities across the prairies.

 

Some farmers in eastern Saskatchewan and into Manitoba have yet to turn a wheel due to the excess moisture in the area.

 

Mike Grenier is an agronomist with the Canadian Wheat Board and says farmers who do have a crop in the ground will want to pay close attention as they emerge:

 

 

Despite the cool, wet conditions in some areas, crops are being put into moist seed beds.
