Another edition of Canadian Western Agribition is in the books, and it's another big success.

During the 8-day event, 140,000 people went through the turnstyles, and the show also featured 4000 head of livestock.

General Manager and CEO, Jason Pollock says the weather was great, and the barns were packed.  He adds that there was also a positive energy in the barns through the show, spilling over into the sales, which are expected to reach $2 million.

Next year is the 40th anniversary of Agribition, and Pollock says it's expected to be a bigger event with the expansion of Evraz Place, including the new six-arena Co-Operators Centre.  He says they'll see some expansion in some areas, including the trade show, and they hope to use as much of the extra space as possible to make the show bigger and better.
