Stat’s show that 8.5 million acres of farmland in Saskatchewan went unseeded or was flooded out this year.
The 2011 Excess Moisture Program provides an additional $30 per eligible acre for affected producers, and Saskatchewan Agriculture Minister Bob Bjornerud says producers have until September 30th to apply for the program:
