Another impressive weekend is now in the books for the Swift Current 11U AAA 57's.

The undefeated team played a doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday against a pair of Queen City teams and won all four games.

Game One

The 57's would open their four-game weekend at Sharon Hogg Field on Saturday afternoon in game one of a doubleheader hosting the Regina White Sox.

That game ended up being the closest all weekend as Swift Current was able to eke out a 7-6 win, scoring three runs in the first inning and tacking on a four spot in the third inning.

Swift Current's Brody Knakoske and Taye Silbernagel both scored twice in the win.

Game Two

The second game between the two was very much in favour of the 57's as they won 15-5 in just four innings.

Swift Current's bats produced four runs in the first and fourth innings, six in the the second inning, and a single run in the third inning.

Nine of the 57's runs came via the first three hitters in their lineup in Dane Irwin, Taye Silbernagel, and AJ Carnahan.

Game Three

Swift Current continued their winning ways on Sunday in Regina facing the Blue Jays winning game one 10-7.

Again the 57's top of the order in Silbernagel, Carnahan, and Knakoske provided most of the offense combining for eight runs.

Game Four

And the contest of the weekend for the 11U squad turned into a bit of a blowout as they beat the Blue Jays 14-6.

All of the offense came in the second, third, and fifth innings for Swift Current as they put up six, five, and three runs respectively.

57's Finn Ostrander and Hudson Rijvers each scored three runs in the win.

The quartet of wins now has the league-leading 57's well atop the standings sitting at 11-0-1 on the year.
