It was a strong result for the 16U Girls Junior Sundogs Black volleyball team over the weekend at Moose Jaw Thunder Creek's tournament.

Earning a silver medal in Moose Jaw, the 16U Girls Sundogs Black kicked off the tourney with an undefeated round-robin run:

Win over Moose Jaw Thunder Creek (25-12, 25-14)
Win over Oxbow (20-25, 25-21, 15-9)
Win over Central Fusion (25-20, 25-19)

Into the quarter final, the 16U Girls topped the Red Coat Rebels in three sets (17-25, 27-25, 15-10), working another three set win in the semis (25-20, 15-25, 15-10 over Esterhazy).

Swift Current's lone loss came in the final to the Huskies Volleyball Club, in yet another three-set tilt (25-20, 22-25, 10-15).

Looking to build on their silver medal performance, the 16U Girls Junior Sundogs Black are back in tournament action March 22-23 at a QCVC-hosted tournament in the provincial capital.
