Deadline drawing near for "Share the Warmth" program.

The Salvation Army, SIAST and SaskEnergy are teaming up to save 30 Swift Current homes some money this fall.

The deadline for the "Share the Warmth" program is only four days away and so far, only eight homes from here have signed up.

Adam Palesch is with the Swift Current Salvation Army.  He says the program enables homeowners and long term renters, who pay their own utility bills, with $200.00 in home improvements.

Palesch adds preference goes to homeowners and long term renters with combined income of less than $45,000.

You can apply for the "Share the Warmth" program by visiting www.saskenergy.com, by going down to or calling the Salvation Army.
