With a 3-0 win over the Everett Silvertips on Sunday, the Swift Current Broncos clinched the WHL Championship series in front of their fans at the Innovation Credit Union iplex, claiming their third Ed Chynoweth Cup since 1989, and first since 1993!

The Broncos will now play in the Memorial Cup tournament for the third time and will look for their first championship since 1989 at the Brandt Centre in Regina. They will take on the QMJHL champion Acadie-Bathurst Titan on May 19 at 2:00pm, then the OHL's Hamilton Bulldogs on May 21 at 6:00pm, before wrapping up the round-robin with a first-round playoff rematch against the host Regina Pats May 23 at 8:00pm. All of the Broncos' games in the Memorial Cup will be broadcast live on the Eagle 94.1 with Robertson Family Group Swift Current Broncos Hockey!
