Medwyn Goldstein-Allen of Shaunavon will be turning ten years old this month and has decided that since doing good deeds brightens her day, she wanted to share that with other kids by creating the Kids Kindness Challenge.

The Challenge is open to kids three to thirteen years of age. They are encouraged to decorate a bucket of any kind, with their first initial on it, then go to the Grand Coteau Center's web page to fill out an online form, which will give them a list of good deeds to follow.

They are to have their parents initial and date each square as they do each act of kindness.

Medwyn says, "It's like about making others happy at this time right now because it's kind of difficult to see other kids. I just wanted to make other kids happy because when I'm upset and I see other kids happy, it makes me happy."

From August 18-27 kids can complete as many of the kind deeds as they can, then on August 28 place their bucket on their front step and tape their list in the front window of their home.

Medwyn will then stop by and drop off a surprise treat, courtesy of V8 Ranch and Bree Goldstein, as their reward for taking part in the Kindness Challenge.
