Pending the arrival of a new boiler, residents in Gull Lake will soon be able to enjoy splashing and diving outdoors when the Crescent Point Pool opens its doors for the 2023 season on June 1.

Recreational Director for the Town of Gull Lake, Sara Kuntz, said that the staff is eagerly anticipating the upcoming season.

“I think we’ll be great,” she stated. “With our new boiler coming that will help with some of the problems that we've seen in the past season, and we have a really great crew of lifeguards. We have a large staff this year compared to past years, 11 lifeguards, and they're diligent and they're eager and they're hard-working and I'm really looking forward to working with them this season.”

Kuntz added that the new boiler was not the only improvement made for the 2023 season.

“We have a new vacuum coming, which is also very exciting,” she elaborated. “And we did some renovations to our bathroom stalls just to spruce the place up and just help with the overall maintenance of the facility.”

Children under the age of seven must be accompanied by a supervisor that is at least 16 years of age.
