The Swift Current Creation Station is a dream come true for the imagination.

Max Noble, who was born and raised in Swift Current, originally had the idea for his children.

"I started it originally for my kids." he said. "They used it, their friends it, the neighborhood kids and it just kept getting bigger."

The Creation Station focuses on Project Based Learning (PLB). PLB is a student centered, more dynamic approach. The teaching method encourages students to gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge.

Noble, who attended the Swift Current Comprehensive High School added.

"I like the fact our school had a great variety of tools I could get access to. There were a few teachers who were good to me despite my repetitive mischievous behavior. They took the time to redirect my energy into more constructive ventures."

"They had a positive impact on me and I really value that. So I hope that the Creation Station will have a similar positive impact for at least a few creative, ambitious, entrepreneurial or even mischievous kids in Swift." he concluded.
