Chloe Wills of Kyle had a round to remember at the 109th Canadian Women's Amateur Championship in Halifax on Tuesday.

Wills scored a hole in one on the par 3 14th hole at Ashburn Golf Club's new course as she shot a 10-over 82 in the opening round of the event. She was one of two golfers to get aces in the first round, with Angela Arora of Surrey, BC, picking up the other on the eighth hole.

Wills, who won the provincial U17 Girls' championship last month at the Chinook Golf Club, is in a tie for 117th after round one. The second round goes on Wednesday with a 70-player cut for the final two rounds on Thursday and Friday.
