Media across the country have been talking about how little Canadians seem to care about this federal election, but Elections Canada has numbers that prove otherwise.
Over 2 million people took part in the Advance Polls held on Friday, Saturday and Monday. That's a 34 percent increase over the last election in 2008.
We'll have to wait and see if that translates into more voters taking part, or just more people that will be busy on Election Day, May 2nd.
