One town that was following last weeks Civic Elections fairly closely, was the town of Herbert.

Their mayor, Al Kildaw, stepped aside 5 months earlier due to personal reasons, and stepping in was interim mayor Connie Redekopp.

Kildaw later returned during the nomination process for mayor looking to return to office, and won the mayoral seat for a second time.

Kildaw says he spent his time away to office to reflect on his role in town leadership...

He adds that he's excited to see a new dynamic on town council following the election, with three women sitting on at the same time.
