An Emotional Wake

RCMP Constable Robin Cameron honored by a wake at her home community.

An emotional wake has been held for RCMP Constable Robin Cameron, one of two Saskatchewan Mounties fatally wounded by a gunman earlier this month.

Cameron’s body was returned to her home community, the Beardy’s and Okemasis First Nation.

Her father, Howard, says a fire will burn on the reserve until his daughter is laid to rest tomorrow.

The funeral for her partner, Constable Marc Bourdages, will be held next Tuesday in Regina.
