The Piapot Lions Club is holding their annual Antique Show and Sale this weekend in the Maple Creek Armories.

This is the 17th anniversary of the event and organizers say they have been very well supported over the years.

About 30 vendors will be at the Show which features everything from china, coins and glassware, to furniture, lamps, farm collectibles and history books.

Harvey Wasilow from the Piapot Lions Club says all money raised goes back into the community. “All our money stays in the community. We look after a couple little playgrounds..one in Maple Creek and that, and just recently we've taken over the expense for the handicap bus..the fuel expense..for the handicap bus in Maple Creek.”

The Lions Club will also have a food booth available all weekend.

The Show and Sale goes Saturday from ten till five and again on Sunday from ten till three.
