The Swift Current Comp. Ardens soccer team won the SHSAA 3A South Regional title on Saturday with a 1-0 win over the Weyburn Eagles.
The host Ardens scored in the ninth minute when Kelsey Therrien's corner kick went off the Weyburn goalkeeper and in for the lone goal. The Ardens did not allow a shot over 90 minutes as Cassandra Furey-Cameron earned the shutout in goal.
Swift Current also beat Weyburn 4-3 earlier in the week to secure a fourth consecutive Moose Jaw High School soccer league championship.
The Ardens will be in Weyburn for Provincials on October 26-27.
