The intersection of Battleford Trail and Central Avenue North in Swift Current has seen more traffic over the last year, after Battleford Trail was extended.
Some residents are calling on the city to make the intersection safer, and many have suggested installing traffic signals.
Engineering Director Mac Forster says they are still conducting traffic analysis there to find out if the intersection actually warrants signals:
Forster adds the city has installed concrete medians on Battleford Trail at both sides of the intersection to help traffic move through more easily.
