After an injury-riddled rookie season with the Broncos, forward Kyle Bortis is back and ready to go.

The Saskatoon native has arrived back in the city to gear up for Broncos training camp which begins with rookie camp next Wednesday.

Bortis is looking forward to playing a full-season after mono, a rib injury and a concussion cut into last season.

Bortis is bigger and is looking forward to taking on a bigger role with the hockey team this season.

About 10 veterans from last year's hockey team are helping out with the Broncos week-long hockey school.

Most of the changes on this year's team will be at the forward position after the departure of players like Luke Hunter, Marc Desloges, Josh Aspenlind, Ned Lukacevic and Brandon Tidball.
