Swift Current, SK – Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb, announced that the team has acquired overage forward Chance Lund from the Seattle Thunderbirds for a sixth-round pick in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.

In 67 games played last season with the Thunderbirds, the 6’5”, 223-pound Fairview, AB product produced a career-high 32 points (15-17-32) and 26 penalty minutes.  The 20-year-old forward was taken by the Thunderbirds in the fourth round (82nd overall) of the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft.
