Team Saskatchewan falls into must-win territory at Brier

Kelly Knapp and Team Saskatchewan lost 9-7 to Nova Scotia to fall to 2-3 at the Tim Hortons Brier in London, Ontario on Tuesday.

Knapp started the game with two points in the first end and after forcing Matthew Manuel to a single in the second, Knapp scored two more in the third to go up 4-1. The two teams traded deuces in the next three ends before Manuel stole one to tie the game 6-6 after seven ends. Nova Scotia forced Knapp to a single in the eighth and took a 8-7 lead with two in the ninth before picking up a steal of one in the tenth to wrap up their third win.

Saskatchewan will likely need to win their remaining games to have a chance at making the playoffs as they face Tanner Horgan and Northern Ontario in their only game of the day this morning.
